Take Action

violence

While we are not experts on global issues, we are experts on the moral and ethical life that strengthens and supports God’s intentions for Creation. As a strong and diverse global denomination, we speak as pastors to the Church and people of good will around our world calling for awareness, study, and action birthed of hope rather than fear.*

Our action is based on raised awareness, ongoing study and learning. It is grounded in relationships with the millions of others who are already at work for justice and peace in our communities, our nations and our world.

We can connect locally but our hearts and minds are linked globally… for survivability, stewardship, sustainability, justice and sufficiency.

This Take Action section will connect, reconnect and encourage you and your network. For example, Click here for action steps on public policy developments at the General Board of Church and Society’s Action Center.
